How Do You Get That BULLET-PROOF Feeling?

Was just on a live call with Todd Falcone interviewing

Ray Higdon – the #1 Earner in his network marketing company.

Just had to share a couple gold nuggets with you . . .

For any who do not know the story of Ray Higdon, he was

  1. very successful in his real estate business
  2. lost it all
  3. was on the verge of bankruptcy
  4. multiple properties going into foreclosure
  5. down to $300 in his bank account
  6. turned it all into now going on a honeymoon in Fiji

WOW – somebody we can all learn a multitude

of things from — what to do AND what not to do . . .

Right?

Todd asked Ray, point blank, how do you go from feeling

bulletproof in your real estate business, to shattered,

and back to feeling bulletproof again.

Where does it come from?

The answer: It comes from who you are surrounding

yourself with and who you let into your psyche.

In today’s world of instant gratification, everybody is

looking for the magic potion – or pill – or button – or trick.

Everybody wants to hear — what was it — what was the

magic one-liner Ray used to be an overnight success????

Don’t let dull people, who you don’t want to be

thinking like or have the same results as,

set up camp in the real estate of your mind.

Who are you letting into your mind?

I know you have heard this before. If you are not getting

the results at whatever it is you are looking to achieve,

step back and ask yourself:

Who am I letting take up camp in the expensive

property of my mind?

Is whatever the last thing is on the nightly news what you

want your mind to mull over and think about all night?

When someone makes fun of you — calls you out as crazy

– for doing something you believe in –

who do you listen to?

Surround yourself with people and minds that will help you

to build the skills and thinking that will take you forward

. . .  > > > INTO your goals.

A few of the techniques,

if that is what you are looking for, Ray gave:

  • Take a successful person out to coffee or lunch
  • Read and study people you believe to be successful
  • Listen to audios – programing the software of your mind
  • Remember you don’t have to absorb everyone’s opinion

Start today — right now — if you are not getting the

results you want in getting toward your goals –

ask yourself:

Am I setting up an environment to program my software to

think and act in a manner to get me into my goals?

Action Step: Find 3 people in your local area you would

like to take to coffee and ask questions. Then follow up.

Two Magical Secrets to Making Network Marketing Successful

Everybody wants to know the Magical Secret to network

marketing. How do the gurus make success?

99% of network marketers are asking the same question.

Let’s take a peek inside the network marketing gurus . . .

What is it that makes you THINK they are gurus?

1) They show up everywhere and amaze you

2) They must be a success, they tell you so.

As we look closer . . . what is happening that makes you think

they are a guru AND thus .. they must be successful?

I can bet it has to do with number of prospects, leads,

conversions and most of all — money — the big checks

they show you.

So back to what are the two Magical Secrets??

What is it that gets a person to “guru” status?

Answer: Their daily plan of action that includes the two secrets –

and — MAGICAL — it just happens:

1 – Registering new reps into their thing

and

2 – Selling stuff

I mean no disrespect here. It is really quite simple.

(Notice I didn’t say easy)

Do whatever it takes — whatever you know how to do — to get

your daily plan of action going that will lead to the two Magical

Secrets that lead to sponsoring and selling.

Daily Action >>> Results >>> Sponsoring and Selling

Oh — you say — but you don’t want to sell stuff. There is only

one question I have for you:

Are you in business with an OPEN sign or not?

You may not want to make the money your daily goal?

Most successful network marketers learned not to.

Make your daily goal a result that comes from an action that

leads to one of the two MAGICAL secrets.

Example: # of hits on your blog, # of leads, # of new people

you talk to and capture their information . . .

Those are actions you can track. You can pay attention to the

number of results you get from those actions. Sort out the

actions that are working and leave the rest for another day.

Today — Do ALL you can — with ALL you have — taking action

steps that lead to the result of either:

1) registering reps, or

2) selling stuff in your store

Now, get to work with your daily actions for results.

How Do I Get More People To See My Content Online?

When you are just starting out, it is very easy to get discouraged and feel that nobody is looking at your stuff.  And – I know – every Tom, Dick and Harry has their ideas of what you should do.

Why do the big guys – and ladies – get all the views? Hmmm. Let’s look at a couple of things:

1)    The “gurus” have been at it longer and just have more content out there

2)    They KNOW they are “THE Dude”

Circumstances are as circumstances are. That is all. There are things out there you can do nothing about.

Someone out on the internet with consistent content for a longer period of time than you is something you cannot go back and change. Now get over it.

You can, however, do something today! Start consistently putting out your content. Google likes consistency. Set a schedule, line it out on a calendar, and stick to it.

If your schedule does not allow you time on a certain day to post on your blog, go ahead and prepare your content, then use WordPress Editorial Calendar to keep you on task.

Just think! Daily writing – and publishing – a piece of content for 90 days puts 90 pieces of your content out on the internet. How many do you have today?

Now you start to stretch and multiply those pieces of content. Easy Peasy.

Once the content is originally written, you can then extend the life of the piece by refreshing it into other forms such as video, audio, blog post, twitter messages, etc. More on that later.

Now on to KNOWING you are THE DUDE!

Mindset comes before motivation in more than the dictionary.

What is your mission?

What is your cause?

Why are you even out there on the internet?

Who are you looking to help – and what are you able to help them with?

If you don’t know – convey that – send out the energy from the tips of your fingers in every word – your audience cannot possibly relate, respond, or will ever even look for you.

Remember, people don’t go looking for you because you have something to say.

People go looking for information – for answers to their questions.

Do you KNOW in your gut – down in the pit of your stomach – you have something that can release others from the shackles holding them hostage?

What kept you up at night, wondering how to solve your problem, crying when nobody else was looking (you hoped), that lead you to the answers you feel the need to share?

You HAVE to know you are THE DUDE with the answers!

Now! Go out there with your 90 Day Plan — Knowing your target audience is looking for your answers.

And on a consistent action plan, attract your target market and give them the answers they are looking for.

I’ve whopped you kinda hard this time. I hope you know that is how much I care.

Are You Feeling Chased By the Internet?

Ever feel like you are being chased around the internet, looking at this,looking at that, and where has the time gone?

Question: Who is doing the chasing? Are you ready to look at yourself? Really — take a look only in you are ready.

I couldn’t help but think about bright shiny objects. Then I thought — Oooohhh is this me?

Then I thought — Am I doing the chasing — or am I placing myself in a position with value to be chased?

Is A Thick Skin Necessary to Stand Tall?

Have you become thick skinned? We often hear we need to have a thick skin and a soft heart if we want to be successful in network marketing.

I am here to challenge you to shed your old skin. Jump in the shower, scrub it off and let it go down the drain!

Why? – you ask.

If we are looking to start anew, whether it be a new day, a new chapter in our life, or a new way of looking at money, income and resources, we have to get rid of our old dirty, clingy, stinky baggage. I call it our old stinky moccasins – they are old and stinky, but they sure are comfy.

We need to put ourselves in a different “environment” to be able to take on new skills of success. Thus we need to shed the skin we live in to make way for a new skin to grow.

New skin comes from the inside – you say. Yeah!! You are getting it!! The new you takes in new seeds of success. Trainings in the form of videos, audios, books, articles, conference calls, training webinars. Given a healthy environment to grow inside you, they will develop and mature quickly. You CAN and WILL reap the fruits of your labor.

There is no “overnight success” in network marketing. You may see the latest email or launch. Before you turn around – they are being touted as the latest overnight wonder. You think maybe, just maybe you can do that too. YOU CAN!! Keep your dream alive!! Just remember it took them growing, developing, working from the inside out first.

It is said 99% of those starting anew – new business – new year’s resolutions – new diet – fail because they quit on themselves too soon. Perhaps cash flow is your issue. That is another discussion. Right now we are talking about YOU. The only one that allows you to fail is YOU. YOU are the only one that can quit on yourself.

OK, OK. I will back off. Don’t mean to be hard on you. Hope you are still reading.

I have just given you an example of why up-line coaches in network marketing tell their people to be thick skinned. If new, you may not have been able to take my encouragement. You may not have been able to “swallow” the seeds of success I have given you to plant inside yourself.

Let your dream become your skin you wrap yourself in. Take in the seeds of wisdom from those who have gone before you. Those going before you have left those seeds of wisdom for you to ingest and let grow and develop in your skin – in you. Let those seeds mature as you grow into standing tall.

You don’t have to have a thick skin – you have to be 10 feet tall and bulletproof from the inside out.
